March 2026:
Guest lecturer for undergraduate level Intro to Psychology and Developmental Psychology courses at Morris Brown University. Provided lecture on “Life in Private Practice” as part of a series of fields mental health professionals can go into.

Guest lecturer for Rollins School of Public Health master's students in the BSHE 565: Violence As a Public Health Problem course. Topics covered: suicide statistics, theory of etiology of suicidal ideation (SI), SI assessment, and treatment for individuals with SI.
September 2012, September 2013, & September 2014:
Guest lecturer for practicum students at the Georgia Gwinnett College counseling center. Guest lectures ended when the Georgia Gwinnett College counseling center hired a full time suicide prevention coordinator. Topics covered: suicide statistics, suicide assessment, and safety planning with suicidal clients.
Dr. Mahlet Endale is a licensed psychologist in Georgia and Florida who delivers engaging, relatable talks on mental health. She shares practical insights on supporting Black women’s well-being, addressing barriers in underserved communities, and promoting wellness for immigrant and first-generation individuals. Her work emphasizes culturally responsive care, therapist development, everyday stress management, and trauma-informed approaches like EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), while also challenging common therapy misconceptions to create meaningful, lasting change.
